Sources of lead exist in our environment, and even small amounts can be a hazard to young children. The good news is that we know how to test for lead and prevent exposure. Reducing lead exposure, particularly from water and paint, is a priority that federal and state initiatives support. Join this webinar to learn where to look for lead, how to test for it, and how to remove lead when you find it.

This webinar is offered with simultaneous interpretation in Spanish.

Key Topics

In this webinar, we’re discussing:

  • Why exposure to lead is a concern for children

  • Where lead can be found in early childhood settings

  • When and how to test your facility’s water and paint for lead, and what to do if lead is found

  • How to create a plan to protect children from lead exposure in your facility
