OCC oversees and assists the efforts of states, territories, and Tribes that administer the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) program. The CCDF program is a multibillion-dollar initiative that provides child care assistance to low-income working families and increases the availability and quality of child care and development services. The incumbent in this position will serve as a Child Care Program Specialist responsible for conducting a variety of activities and projects for the administration of the CCDF program.
As a Child Care Program Specialist, you will use your knowledge of and experience with ACF to optimize business results and customer experiences by:
Serving as a primary contact for state, territory, and/or Tribal CCDF lead agencies
Developing, collecting, maintaining, and disseminating information essential to child care programs under OCC’s auspices
Evaluating and assessing grantees’ compliance with CCDF program requirements and performance in the fulfilment of objectives
Providing guidance on CCDF policy, program implementation, and technical assistance issues.
