This toolkit provides resources for creating a Child Development Associate (CDA) Prep Program to train and develop a cadre of qualified early childhood education professionals. One of the greatest challenges faced by early care and education programs is the difficult task of finding, hiring, and retaining engaged and dedicated professionals. Programs can address this challenge by creating a CDA Prep Program that will train and develop a cadre of qualified early childhood education professionals within their community while also significantly moving them towards obtaining their CDA credential.
